Training for Employment & Retention
The Employment & Retention Program is a multifaceted training program designed to develop and improve skills related to gaining and retaining employment while delivering excellent customer service. The curriculum is structured around three central components: customer service fundamentals, job search essentials, and the necessary personal skills for job retention. The Customer Service curriculum includes: assessment of client needs, product demonstrations, conflict resolution, face-to-face, telephone, and email communication with clients, and strategies for customer satisfaction and retention. The job readiness portion of the course is uniquely designed to develop employability skills necessary for employment and job retention. This segment of the course includes resume and interview preparation, development of soft skills for success on the job, training of basic computer skills and typing practice, goal setting, and time management.
